Originally from St. Louis, Mr. Salky is President of KNS, LLC., a consulting firm that directs its efforts toward advising and assisting China-based, consumer-electronics firms to develop within the United States. Since founding KNS in 2001, Kenny has worked in depth with Shinco, a top consumer-electronics-products company based in China, to pilot the establishment of Shinco-branded products in the U.S. These products are distributed at prominent retailers such as Best Buy, Target, and Wal*Mart under the Initial Technologies brand name. With Mr. Salky’s direction, Shinco has developed OEM relationships with key U.S. retailers for the production of house brands, and the company’s U.S. sales of branded and OEM products has grown over $150 million annually.
Mr. Salky’s substantial résumé includes serving as CEO of Koss Audio and Video Electronics, the North American subsidiary of Hong Kong-listed Orient Power Holdings Limited, where he successfully spearheaded the company’s efforts to establish the brand in all major consumer electronics and mass-merchandise retailers in the U.S., delivering profitable growth. Additionally, Mr. Salky has worked with major entertainment studios where he facilitated licensing programs and developed content for interactive development.
